Coming from a family of horse riders, Michael Baumgartner started to ride in 2008 and quickly became established in the sport. Already in 2011, he leaves to work alongside Swiss nations cup rider Niklaus Rutschi as part of his apprenticeship. This is where he gain his initial international-level experience. In 2013, he represents his country for the first time at a Junior level. In order to continue to improve his skills, he decides to relocate to Germany and train with Olympic gold medalist Lars Nieberg and CHIO Aachen 2022 winner Gerrit Nieberg before joining the Stephex Stables in 2019. After three years representing the Stephex Stables at various international events he fullfills his lifelong dream of his own show jumping stables and returns home to Switzerland. Michael is active in the training and showing of the horses and provides lessons to our students.

Steffie combines her passion for horses with a strong academic and business background. She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from Maastricht University and gained professional experience at Stephex Stables as Social Media and PR Manager. Alongside, she built her own equine art business. To complement her expertise, she completed the Executive Program in Equestrian Stable Management at the CHIO Aachen Academy and RWTH Aachen. At B&H Stables, Steffie manages the office, marketing, and organizational aspects, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.

Jenny brings dedication and a strong background in dressage to the team. With her calm and precise riding style, she supports Michael in the daily training of the horses and ensures that each horse is kept fit and well-schooled when the team is away at shows. Jenny’s eye for detail makes her an invaluable part of the training program at home.

Sonja is the heart of the stable when it comes to horse care. With years of international grooming experience, she makes sure our horses are in top condition. Her professionalism, dedication and love for horses ensure their well-being at all times.

Eszter supports the team both in the stables and in the office. Having grown up in a family with horses, she developed a strong foundation in horsemanship from an early age and began her showjumping career in 2017. As part of her Business Management studies at university, she completes her internship program at the stable. With her riding experience and organizational skills, she assists in daily horse care, training routines, and administrative tasks, making her a valuable part of the smooth day-to-day operations.

Milan plays a key role in the daily morning routine. With his attentive care for the horses and dedication to maintaining the stable at the highest standard, he is an essential and valued member of our team.
